Ogden’s Other Point of Interest
Perched on the foot of Victoria’s landmark Breakwater on Dallas Road, the Ogden Point Café welcomes travelers from both land and sea. Owners Gail Patterson and Bob Lumley spent over four years completing the research to help realize their dream of a breathtaking oceanfront café. And realize their dream they did. Ogden Point Café has been serving Victoria’s local community and traveling tourists alike since it opened its doors in November 1996.

Ogden Point Café serves snacks. At breakfast, lunch or dinner, this restaurant provides a variety of items to tide you over. Nearly all of the food is either cooked or baked on-site, and the true meaning of home-style cooking can genuinely be tasted. Patrons can take a tray and line up for a gourmet sandwich or side salad from the service buffet. Some savory items to warm up on include Sausage Rolls, Chicken Pot Pies, Quiches, and Lasagnas. Ogden Point Café boasts several vegetarian and diabetic dishes as well. For a sweet treat, select a decadent dessert such as a slice of Pumpkin Caramel Cheesecake or Walnut Fudge Brownie. All sorts of specialty coffees are available, along with selected beers and wines, and ice cream during the summer. While portion sizes are small to medium, every item can be purchased for approximately $5.00 give or take, plus the cost of your beverage.
Whether it’s a bright, sun kissed morning or a wild, blustery evening, Ogden Pointe Café sports one of the best vantage points in Victoria for wave watching. With unparalleled Pacific Ocean views and nearly ten years of experience, Ogden’s other point of interest will offer you more than just a shelter from the storm.
